Description:

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh antara Workplace ostracism terhadap task performance, servant leadership dengan team-member exchange sebagai variabel mediasi yang dimoderasi oleh task interdependence. Diharapkan penelitian ini turut andil dalam peningkatan informasi pada tataran teori/keilmuan manajemen organisasi serta implikasi manajerial yang positif terhadap peningkatan service excellent pada industri perhotelan. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, dengan kuesioner sebagai alat instrumen dan disebarkan baik secara online maupun offline. Teknik penentuan responden penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM). Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan, pertama Workplace ostracism berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap task performance dan team-member exchange. Kedua, servant leadership mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap team-member exchange. Ketiga, teammember exchange mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap task performance. Sehingga, terdapat peran mediasi dari team-member exchange pada hubungan antara workplace ostracism dengan task performance dan terdapat peran moderasi dari task interdependence. Terdapat implikasi manajerial pada penelitian ini bagi organisasi, yaitu penerapan servant leadership dapat memudarkan efek negatif yang ditimbulkan dari workplace ostracism dan meningkatkan keefektifan pada anggota-tim dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan task performance serta mencapai tujuan organisasi.
